Hi Everyone I stopped smoking 5 months ago I am due my surgery on Tuesday. I am still chewing the nicotine gum when should I stop before surgery?

Stop now if you can. Better to get it out of your system as much as possible, and gum is a no-no during post op. I stepped down from nicotine gum to the mini lozenges, then switched to sugarfree altoid mini's.
