Pain Around The Belly Button

As anyone here had pain around the belly button during the healing process? If so about how long does it last. Deep down I keep thinking I developed a hernia but my doctor says it's part of the healing process.

I'm about 4 weeks out and still have a little tenderness right around the bottom of my belly button. My doc said they same thing. It's the only soreness or tenderness I have anymore and it's a lot less than it was before.
