Not sure if this is a surgery side effect...

My back is getting all tingly like it has fallen asleep under my left shoulder blade. It feels like when your foot falls asleep. It does not hurt but just odd. Anyone else experience anything like this?

It's funny you say that, I have been getting this tingly feeling on my left side of my back. I thought maybe I did something wrong at the gym.

I developed a pinched nerve due to compressions in my neck and had similar issues along with burning sensation and shooting pain in my shoulder. It didn't start out that bad, but worsened over several weeks. When it started keeping me up at night and heat/massage weren't doing the trick, I headed to the chiropractor. That's where I found out about the nerves/spinal compression. I kept wondering if it was weight loss related somehow. I still don't have that answer, but my treatments are doing wonders! If you have coverage or can afford it, a chiropractor might help :)
