justn444 5 Posted November 1, 2013 Had my surgery on Monday. Came home yesterday. I had two strips last night four hours apart. I haven't needed them all day today, but I've been able to walk a lot more today. I'm too scared to take too many of the strips because I'm afraid I won't be able to have a bowel movement. Which I still haven't had.

ponchik 77 Posted November 1, 2013 I think majority of your gas pains are the kind gasx will not help with. During the surgery they pump your abdominal cavity with CO2 and this is the pain you are experiencing... Walking will help, you have my word for it. I was using gasx for few days after the surgery, but my doc said its pointless. The piping needs to adjust itself...
butterfly2433@gmail.com 19 Posted November 2, 2013 Thanks everyone for the advice! I tried walking more today then what I had been and the pain has been a little better today. I also think I might be lactose intolerant for right now... SW 413 CW 320 Surgery date 10/
ajustice 484 Posted November 2, 2013 I used them while recovering but not really sure it helped. More of it was walking that helped the most.... I use em now tho! While I am proud of my post op weight loss the gas after surgery is nothing pretty ..as u will find plenty of us talking about noticing post op :/
