TurnThePage 220 Posted October 26, 2013 You will be fine! The only thing you have to worry about is getting to the hospital on time. They'll take care of everything from there. Mostly, you will sleep or walk to get rid of the gas they use during surgery. Hope you get some wonderfully kind nurses. Take care! 1 roundfuzzy reacted to this

DevilBlueDress 189 Posted October 26, 2013 Earplugs? Yup, even though I had a private room, sometimes my door was left ajar and I could hear hallway conversations and my neighbor's TV.
karenmartin 170 Posted October 26, 2013 Some kind of shoes you can slip on and off with ease. You'll be doing a lot of walking when you're in "recovery". Trust me, the more you walk the better you'll feel. Take something to look at or watch too because by the second day you're not as tired and you're more bored with staying in bed and walking the halls. Make friends with a pretty nurse
