pumpkin73 21 Posted October 17, 2013 I am 6 days post op and was on my way to feeling better. I drunk about 4 oz of skim milk with a scoop of vanilla Unjury Protein Powder. 20 minutes later I started having sharp pains on left lower side of my stomach. Could this be a sign of lactose intolerance or dumping? I took some Lortab (for the 1st time in 3 days)...hoping this will help with the pain. Has anyone experienced this? Mid West 99 Posted October 17, 2013 I'm about the same as you, I had my op on the 10th last Thursday. Sorry, personal question but have you been to the loo since your op? I know that can cause some pretty sharp pain if you haven't 'been' for a while.
pumpkin73 21 Posted October 17, 2013 No, I haven't been since surgery. I drank a smooth yesterday but this only gave me gas. I will try Miralax next; hopefully that will help. But for now, I think I will switch to Almond milk. That pain had me in tears.
Mid West 99 Posted October 17, 2013 That might be it then but if it happens again, I would definitely get in touch with your health carers :-) 1 pumpkin73 reacted to this
