niecyrenee 2 Posted March 8, 2007 M/E is short for meat & egg fast. What it consists of is eating nothing but lean meats and eggs for a period of 3, 5 or 7 days. A fellow bootcamper of mine told us about it. It's how her doctor had told her to eat. People have had some amazing results with it. waterlily1072 5 Posted March 8, 2007 lol, when i did Atkins i craved fruit like there was no tomorrow. I only lasted 2 weeks after that, just the smell of meat cooking made me sick. I know a lot of people do well with it and like it but it just wasn't for me. Wehn I read the M/E fast part of the bootcamp thread it reminded me of what I did for my atkins induction, it does work that's for sure, but I'm not one who can follow it and feel good, I became catanonic, and sick and stayed that way.
