xiomara8868 101 Posted October 9, 2013 Hi ppl my surgeon told me that I can start tuna and Chili next week.. any suggestions on what can i mix the tuna with? I know i cant eat bread so that not an option.. lol
TurnThePage 220 Posted October 9, 2013 I put the tuna in the microwave with wax paper over it for 15 seconds. Stir, sprinkle a little shredded cheddar on top and microwave for another 10 seconds. Instant tuna melt! Or make tuna salad with a bit of low fat may or dressing and eat without the bread. Maybe a cracker or two if you are far enough out from surgery. 1 xiomara8868 reacted to this

jerz 251 Posted October 9, 2013 I like tuna with chopped boiled egg & mayo, a little salt & pepper with crackers. Some ppl add a little pickle relish. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/
jerz 251 Posted October 9, 2013 Also canned chicken is good too, prepared the same way. I ate crackers at 4w post op but follow whatever your surgeon recommends. Even when I did eat crackers the most I could eat was like 3 or 4. DOS:358 CW:270 SD:1/28/13 BabyBoyDueDate: 11/14/
erikaloftin 62 Posted October 9, 2013 I do it with fat free mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and if you're allowed raw veggies yet, a few chunks of finely chopped pickles, and tomatoes
pear425 32 Posted October 9, 2013 My doc says no crackers but Pickle Juice and onion powder for flavor are ok. No "lumps" like egg, celery, pickles, onions etc...
