Camella 209 Posted November 6, 2013 I'm four months post op and today is the first time I tried a cookie (wished I hadn't) and I tried a piece of chocolate cake a few weeks ago. The cake I made myself for friends. When I tried the cake it tasted a little fishy (literally like fish). I was quite embarrased as I had servered it to guests but, everyone was raving about how great it tasted. I assumed they were being polite. Tonight when I tried the choc chip cookie it also tasted like fish! Anyone else experienced any weird changes in taste?

nepagirl 24 Posted November 6, 2013 Among the huge list of foods I hope taste nasty after surgery, chocolate is close to the top. I also hope cheese, mashed potatoes, wine, any kind of alcohol, sour cream, cream cheese, ice cream, soda, chips, Oreos and snack cakes find themselves on my "Foods You Couldn't Pay Me To Eat" list. nepagirl 24 Posted November 6, 2013 I guess everyone is different. I can eat mashed potatoes and laughing cow cheese just fine My problem is, I love it all LOL. I can eat them just fine, too. I could eat two, or three, or more servings of each of them! But man, I wish I hated the taste of it. Imagine how easy weight loss would be if you didn't like the taste of your favorite foods?
