Best Friends

I just wanted to start a post to acknowledge how great my best friends have been throughout this process... Although one of them is a size 0 and two others are size 4 (they were all blessed with great genes and great bodies), they've all been so incredibly supportive to me. Even as their (self-proclaimed) "fat-friend," they've never once judged me or made me feel bad about my weight or body. From day one, they've helped me weigh my options regarding surgery, and have been cheering me on every day since... Although they live all over the country, their calls texts emails of support, and to check in on me to see how I am feeling, have meant so much. In the spirit of thanksgiving, I am so incredibly grateful for them

P.S. I can't wait until we can shop in the same stores again!

Love that you posted this! I too have been so lucky with the support from my friends and family from day one. It always breaks my heart when I read posts on here from people that don't have the support we do. Definitely has me counting my blessings
