gamergirl 4,610 Posted November 9, 2013 My PA who had RNY 6 years ago, said that her skin today looks much better than it did even 3 years ago. So there's hope. And in the meantime, I created this to remind myself to be happy. 2 sophiepants and Butterthebean reacted to this
penman53 493 Posted November 14, 2013 My wife took a pic of me yesterday. I had on a shirt that I could not wear for many years. It was tucked in and I had on a pair of jeans that were too big for me. I was a 50 before surgery and I wear a 40 now and the pants were 42's. So my belly looks even worse. I think I need to leave the shirt tail out for awhile until I hope the jiggly belly subsides.

My husband is now able to tuck his shirt in first thing in the morning--and it stays that way all day. He can't stop marveling at that.
onsummit 117 Posted November 14, 2013 Jiggly barely describes it. I have lost 70 pounds, am down several sizes. I can't really see the difference and feel fatter than before the surgery. My jello-ness and excess skin is daunting. This surgery is the best thing I have ever done and I regret not doing it sooner, but I wonder how long it will take to feel freer of the fat. I still am 30 or so pounds from goal . 1 TexasMiss reacted to this

I thought I looked awful....plus of course when I sat down everything expanded and the shirt would pull out. Now I wanna tuck in my shirt everyday. Whether I should or not. 1 gamergirl reacted to this
