WARNING ABOUT RED LOBSTER RESTAURANTS

This is important and worth the time to read!

Warning!!Be careful if you eat at "RED LOBSTER RESTAURANTS."

A young woman was having a meal at the restaurant and suddenly began to experience intense chest pains. Nothing her friends or the restaurant personnel did would relieve the pain.

"911" was called and an ambulance was sent and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital where doctors removed the women's blouse.

As soon as this was done, emergency room personnel were able to properly diagnosis the cause of the pain:

Yeah, that's the one thing I'll miss when I get banded. I'm a total bread addict, and their's is the BEST. Well, their's, macaroni Grill's, and Olive Garden's. And Logan's Roadhouse. And O'Charley's. And....

ACK! I'm confused! I edited to change "theirs" to "their's", but that doesn't look right, either! I give up!

Laurend - you never know. I can do bread without any trouble. Rice too. 99.9% of the time I choose not to, because I watch my carbs, but when I really want some I have some. Tonight I had a business dinner at a nice Chinese restaurant and had both brown and white rice. Saturday I had a half a piece of french toast (stopped because I was full, not because it wasn't going down).

As of yet there are no foods I can't eat. There are just foods that feel uncomfortable going down. Not uncomfortable the way something feels when it's stuck, it's a different feeling.

And it's theirs. Their includes the possessive. Carlene could explain it more technical-like. :girl_hug:

Pre-band, I was the bread queen. I could happily live on a diet of hot French bread, Red Lobster biscuits, and fresh-from-the-oven yeast rolls. I haven't had a piece of bread in over two years.

PS....It's "theirs".

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
