Yuck! Anyone else have a late surgery time? How did your day go?

It's going to be a looooong time without Water. Oh well, small price to pay for ultimate goal.

You will be fine. During the pre-surgery part, they will start an IV and pump plenty of fluids into you at that point, so you probably won't be thirsty or hungry.

My surgery was scheduled at 1:30 but I didn't get taken back until after 3:00! Yes, it was hard but they did tell me I could take a small amount of Water early morning of my surgery. Also, once they got my IV hooked up and started fluids it wasn't bad after they gave me my Ativan as my nerves were a little mess! Good Luck to you :)

Thank you all. 11/13 for me... I forgot all about the IV. I don't even check in until 12:45

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
