soonerorlater 139 Posted November 6, 2013 Today is my 3rd day after surgery and Im still feeling the gas. My dr and nurse said not to take anything for it because it wont help, only time will. I cant get anything down. I just cant wait for this part to be over with and feeling better and able to hold down liquids.< /p>
crichinME 1 Posted November 6, 2013 I've always heard, in general, the third day after any surgery is generally the hardest. Not sure why and I'm sure it's not true for everyone. But hopefully it's smooth sailing from here and you start feeling lots better. (Surgery 11/25)

I think it could be because now im not on meds from the hospital or getting a IV anymore. Thank you though for your thoughts!
gomekast 559 Posted November 6, 2013 I used gas x strips and they worked within about a half hour. Also, I slept with a heating pad on my belly the first two nights home. Took all the swelling down. The nurses in the hospital started the heat thing before I was even awake. Congrats! 1 soonerorlater reacted to this
