Weight Loss Stalled on Optifast

I am on DAY 11 of my Optifast liquid diet pre-surgery. I have my surgery this Friday, November 8th.

When I saw the Doctor on Day 7, I had lost 7 lbs since I started the diet. Since then, it really seems to have stalled.

I am exercising 30 minutes a day, drinking at least 6 bottles of Water (16.8 ozs each) and trying my hardest to drink all 5 shakes that I need to eat each day before 6pm at night. NO CHEATING! THe only thing was I had a allergy cold a few days ago and did not walk for 3 days.

It was just nice to see the scale going down and getting a little worried that it stopped. Anyone have similiar results or advice?

I wouldn't worry too much about the number and keep your focus exactly where you have it - on the process. Sounds like you are doing everything right - keep up the great work!

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

        Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
