9storme6 5 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Sleeved on 10/30/13 with a weight of 272. I think I am doing ok, having a problem getting Vitamins down, just doing my best. Im sick of the fluids already, but its all part of the journey. According to my scale I have lost 12 pounds. I was tired all the time, but yesterday I had trouble sleeping, thought that was odd. I think food commercials should be outlawed, or at least the pizza ones, lol. So good luck to everyone, keep in touch. So over liquids but it is what it is. 1 bonniefide reacted to this

[/quote'] Really I have no problem watching the food network or the cook channel. I started watching it more than I did pre op because I just wanted to cook healthier when the time comes for regular food & to resist temptation so far so good my first day from the hospital my cousins went to my fav fast food stop (burger king) & she ordered my usual down to a tee (whopper, onion rings & the zesty sauce) boy it smelt so good but honestly I wasn't even hungry I had my Protein Shake she went as far as telling me to check the bag to make sure the order right **that's where I draw the line** I toss that bag right to my other cousin in the back to check I feel what helped me best with my temptation is the will power to not fail myself & put my vsg (my tool) to its best use & to all my fav food which was fried food & carbs (bread, Pasta & mashed potatoes) to just avoid but even when I encounter my fav foods is so easy to just say no I know eventually I be able to have food I once love just rarely & less of it

sifford1 27 Posted November 5, 2013 Water is my only friend acid reflux makes me not want to drink any crystal light just makes it even worst I have sugar free popsicles I'm afraid to try laying in the right position crucial cause if I don't it's like the acid reflux crawling up my throat I can't even sleep in my 1/2 way fetal position that use to get me so comfortable any more cause any bending up my body while laying down shoots that acid reflux up my throat I'm so looking forward to my first post op visit so I can get something prescribe for this cause it causing a great deal of being uncomfortable & sometimes losing sleep the eating part not so bad because I don't have any appetite but I know I have to get my Protein in I totally know how u feel! I sleep siting up to help, and I'm getting discouraged, they told me to take maalox but even that only helps a little! I just hope it goes away, and it's not forever! Kay__S 33 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Hi Everyone, So far so good! Highest Weight 304 Surgery weight 294 on Oct 14 Current weight 266 28 lbs in 3 weeks sounds great. But of course I can't really tell a difference yet. All my clothes are for lounging (I work from home), so they are just little droopier than normal. The biggest excitement is that I can wear some sports bras that I haven't been able to fit into for months and months. So, we know where that 28 lbs came from now don't we! Capricornrose 59 Posted November 6, 2013 I'm wondering if that's normal during that time for us women. I would suggest weighing in like once a week taunting yourself daily or every few days can be discouraging...hopefully after your monthly visit you will bounce bk...pls update on that I'm a little curious...good luck Okay. It seems like it happened to me right when the dreaded "3rd week stall" happens. So I'm not sure. But my weight has actually gone up another lb. It's crazy. I'm hardly eating anything. Weird. I'll def. keep you updated. 2 bonniefide and nik2nite reacted to this

But looking at posts from veterans there are stalls along the way 1 bonniefide reacted to this
