jrrodriguez 22 Posted November 2, 2013 Hi Yoly. I am also having surgery Nov 8. Everything is going to be good. I understand being nervous for your first surgery but I'm sure your surgeon is well qualified. Leave it to him/her to take good care of you. So let's join the rest of the sleevers here and start our new journey! Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. 1 jbrown reacted to this

Tiny One 223 Posted November 2, 2013 Prayers! You will do great! Be positive and happy! Don't look at the posts that are negative, about problems. It will only scare you! Trust your surgeon. Linda, you are so right. I often say I'm glad I didn't stumble upon this forum until after my surgery. While the positive posts would've helped, I'm sure the negative posts would've scare me too. It will be 1 yr since my sleeve & I've had nothing but positive experiences. So Yoly, trust your doctors, follow their guidelines & you'll do well. Good luck, sending prayers & positivity your way!!!!! 1 LindafromFlorida reacted to this
sittingpretty64 7 Posted November 3, 2013 Once you've had the surgery and start seeing results you will have the same response most of us have, "Why didn't I do this sooner?". I love the new me. It does get easier, just make sure you're prepared mentally. Your food life will be very different. No more large portions, you'll love it. Food still tastes great you just don't eat as much to be satisfied.
