OHHLALA 11 Posted November 2, 2013 Am I eating too much ? Too fast ?
Fiddleman 4,376 Posted November 2, 2013 Yes, hiccups will happen when eating to much, too fast or both together. And different people have different reactions. You hiccup. I burp. Others have runny nose, slime or plain throw up. Regardless of what your reaction is, one thing is clear: your body is talking to you. Slow down take smaller bites, chew tons and keep doing that. Usually, it is best to eat to a feeling of satisfaction and not to a full feeling. This takes a while to learn how to listen to your body, a lot of trial and error. Good luck. 4 jbrown, endless80, 1Day1Life4Now and 1 other reacted to this
4theluvof 11 Posted November 2, 2013 I get them occasionally too. Were you recently sleeved? I was on 10/23. I think it's the gas.

jandseakin 96 Posted November 2, 2013 Getting hiccups is my sleeve's way of telling me I'm full. I just get a few and they always make me smile.... "I'm done.". 2 Mocha2871 and Crazypants reacted to this
Momonanomo 534 Posted November 2, 2013 Sometimes I have one, loud, enthusiastic HICCUP! I laugh....but I am secretly seriously hoping it never happens at a restaurant! 1 sixbuttons reacted to this
Chellemetime 299 Posted November 2, 2013 It's my sign that I'm full. I only eat until I'm satisfied but it usually comes about 20-30 minutes after i finish eating. Sent from my iPhone using VST

Mocha2871 182 Posted November 6, 2013 I also get them when I am full. When I have had enough to eat I get them and I know I need to stop eating. I think its funny.
mirabelle 64 Posted November 6, 2013 Like a couple others that commented, my sleeve signals me with a hiccup when I'm full. I have learned to never second guess the hiccup, even one more bite will surely be regretted.

Sent from my iPhone using VST Exactly the same as me! I don't get them while eating but I get a small bout about half an hour later sometimes if I'm having a long awaited cup of tea!
