fyrecraka 4 Posted November 2, 2013 Hi all you sleevers! I just have to say that I am feeling pretty good about having the surgery. In the hospital, when I was coming out of sedation, and they had me on the pca pump of dilaudid I did not pee on my own. They had to cath me 4 times and it wasn't until they took me off of it that I went on my own. Did anyone else have this trouble? I'm going good now. I also seem to be doing well with drinking. So far I've had Water, sugar free Popsicles and Jello, broth, and sf Vitamin water. When you went and started adding Protein to your routine did you hit your goal of what you should have right off the bat or did you do it gradually? What is the beat Protein shake to go with? I have the Atkins shakes for now, but I want to get the best stuff? How long did the pain last for? I feel like it's getting better, and I want to get off of the Tylenol with codeine. It tastes horrible and it's bad for you. Anyway, if anyone has any insight for me, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sassy Pants1 186 Posted November 3, 2013 Totally normal to not hit Water and Protein goals in the first week or two. In the first week, it's all about hydration. Your nutritionist should be able to provide you with weekly goals.
