Always cold. I even wore sock in the 115 desert heat where I live. I have a heater in my bedroom and office and have seriously thought about wearing texting gloves to meetings because the conference room is SO cold. I cross my legs and casually try to put my hands between my knees lol. I should get an electric blanket too.

I take freezing over sweating any time :-)

For me, life is now about planning for being cold and doing things accordingly. I wear fleecy jammies to bed, socks, a duvet and big woollen throw over the top. I have a furry dressing gown on the bed for when I get up. No wonder I am single ;-) I now also have fur lined ankle boot slippers too.

I have blocked draughts in the house and put extra heaters in every room. I have very fine thermal underwear that I wear under everything. And I have bought new gloves, scarves and hats- never wore anything like this in about 30 years! I am also the proud owner of thermal socks and several pairs of boots....

Feeling a bit warmer but it's costing me a fortune, lol. What I save on food, I now spend on utilities but it's all worth it.

I froze my first winter (about 6 months post op) and wore snow gloves everywhere (in the grocery store - lol). The body temperature started to regulate properly around month 10. Today, at month 16, I feel comfortable in most air temperatures. This is nice to not freeze and shiver as I did post op nor overheat and sweat like pre sleeve.

This is too funny because pre-sleeve I was always hot and now I'm always freezing. Last night I slept with my slippers on my feet and my jacket on! I was in Target last week and couldn't even go near the refrigerated aisle...way too cold!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
