DanielleSleeve 82 Posted November 1, 2013 I take steamy hot baths & showers just to feel better.. Does it get better?
gomekast 559 Posted November 1, 2013 I've read that most people that are losing weight tend to stay cold. Their bodies aren't working as hard digesting food, which makes the body colder. And yes, my feet are back to ice cold now all the time. I take a steamy shower before bed to warm up a bit. But I do like the cold, as I live in the upper Midwest. bonniefide 49 Posted November 1, 2013 I started using my heating pad. I rotate it on different parts of my body... when one part warms up, I move it to the next frozen area.

PdxMan 4,292 Posted November 1, 2013 I used to be so warm. Too warm, to be honest. My wife loved it, though. But, post-sleeve, I was so cold all the time. Even in the summer. I would say a little after a year, maybe 15 months post-op, this started to get better. Now, I am not as warm as I used to be, but I am not as cold as I was post-op either. A very happy middle ground I would like to think most "normal" people are at. 2 StarryNight and DanielleSleeve reacted to this
Butterthebean 8,146 Posted November 1, 2013 My first winter after being sleeved I froze to death. If this is your first post sleeve winter....get ready for a long frosty one. Coming up on my second winter and I'm hoping I've acclimated somewhat. Since it's still 80 here....too early to tell.

jdmama911 224 Posted November 2, 2013 I was always freezing Pre sleeve, and have noticed its still the same. Only now, it takes a LOT more to warm me up. :/ Not looking forward to winter ::shiver:: A hot steamy shower sounds delightful about now.
Peggy 53 69 Posted November 2, 2013 Buy an electric blanket. I have a small one for my chair and another one on the bed. Problem is, I also have to share it with the cats! 1 cindymg reacted to this
