Usually your surgeon gives you acid reducers? Mine gave me a months supply and I then went to my family doctor to get more those should help! The surgery produces a lot of acid

I take omniprezole (generic Prilosec) once a day for sure, twice a day if needed. My surgeon said anywhere from 6 mo-1 year stay on it.

I take protonix. It's a cheap script, and works like a charm.

I never had it prior to surgery either but now I have it and its pretty bad. I was taking 2 Previcid 24-hour's every day and still popping antacids but doctor just put me on Nexium 40mg and 1 pill a day does it. Im 11 months out so Im hoping it slows down soon otherwise Ill have to get scoped.

Aloe Vera. I has it really bad. You can buy aloe vera to drink. Works so well. Good for you.
