makingadjustments 50 Posted October 30, 2013 Hello support family I just wanted to say that I'm the happiest person on earth right now, I've been doing good. I had a few adjustments at the beginning but I'm good now. My intake is small sometimes I struggle to get all my Protein in but the results OMG I'm amazed at my progress and the change in my figure. I'm able to successfully walk up a flight of stairs and still have my breath, no longer diabetic this surgery was good for me & god has been good to me in my recovery as well. When I figure out hob t post a picture I will. I have a new attitude and I like it yay me. Hope everyone has been well I'm very excited about my future. 3 AprilS, ReEstDec2013 and OHHLALA reacted to this

You are my doppelganger! lol We both started out almost the same weight (I was 236 at the start of preop diet and my goal is 150, too)....and I'm just two weeks post-op. I'm SO feeling good about my progress (and yours!) and know it will only get better once I can do more hardcore exercise. I am no longer diabetic either! Surgeon took me off Metformin the day after surgery. I had what you call "Dawn Syndrome" where my sugar was only a little high in the morning (135-145). My sugar this morning was 95! Perfectly normal! Am still on mild dosage of high BP meds but I suspect in 20 more lbs., I 'll be off them, too! So I will have replaced a couple of crappy meds with a TON of Vitamins instead! lol Keep up the great work everyone!
