Are you eating enough calories for 120 minutes of exercise per day? I would check with my NUT if I were you. And I bet if you cut your exercise in half, you will start to lose again.

I dont count calories or protien. But ya I know I'm not eating that much. I think that's what I'm going to do. Cut my exercise in half.

Around the 6 month mark, I noticed I could easily eat more and got hungry more easily if I stuck with my old 1/2 cup portions.

I occasionally get cravings, but only if I see a particular food. I was at work and someone brought in cherry filled donuts, as I walked past I started obsessing about eating one. Up until then, I never even considered eating a donut. I don't keep junk food in my house, so it's never a temptation.

I've also noticed that I get hungry after exercise OR if I don't get enough sleep. In the past, when I was sleep deprived, I was always hungry. Eating carbs gave me a temporary energy boost, but only for a few hours.

maybe you should monitor your caloric intake for at least a week.. You might be suprised at the #'s.. The least that will do is give you a line in the sand so you know what to try going forward.. I am a year out and still monitor my intake at least 95% of the time.. It personally helps me and keeps me accountable.

Ok so I started logging as of today and I guess I do under eat. Who would have thought. I'm only getting 300 calories a day after exercise.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
