kitkatcannon 26 Posted October 30, 2013 I had my surgery July 26th and the past several weeks my energy level has been non-existent in the afternoons. Come 2:00 I'm so tired that I have a hard time staying awake at work. I had a B12 shot when this all started and have not noticed a difference at all. Has anyone else experienced this? Beach Lover 1,084 Posted October 30, 2013 My surgery was June 7th and it took me about 9 weeks to get past the exhaustion. Make sure you are getting all of your Protein in and liquids as well. It takes a long time to heal from this surgery and find a normal place. You might call your doctor and have your blood work done if haven't done so yet. Your Iron level could be low as well as other things. Good luck! 1 kitkatcannon reacted to this

I go back for a follow up appointment on the 20th and will discuss it with my doc then if I don't end up calling him before then. Thanks! 1 Beach Lover reacted to this
ChunkyMonkey 13 Posted October 30, 2013 I had this and then I remembered my doctor said B12 deficiencie is a big deal. Even though I'm taking a supplement I was worried I was not absorbing enough. I went and got a b12 shot and felt way better after. You may want to try that. 1 kitkatcannon reacted to this

I also started getting dizzy when standing up at about the same time I started experiencing the fatigue. Maybe I'm a little dehydrated? I'm going to increase my Water intake and see if that helps at all, too.
Beach Lover 1,084 Posted October 30, 2013 Dizzy, lightheaded, fatigue, dark urine, disoriented all of these can be signs of dehydration. B12 shots sound like a good thing as well. 1 kitkatcannon reacted to this
