mimi342 4 Posted October 28, 2013 I am almost two weeks post-op. I thought I'd done all research possible mind you I've been researching for at least 5 years on bariatric surgery. All i have to say is "ain't nothing like the real thing baby"! I live in louisiana but I travelled all the way to decatur tx to have my surgery. Number one if I had to pay I was going to make my dollars stretch. I ended up finding Good ole Dr. Scott Stowers. He very down to earth and has an excellent staff! They make you feel like you are the only patient the have. I am very pleased with the results. I'm down 36 lbs in a two week time frame.
