Try the 100 calorie packages of the chips Ahoy. They start out with a crisp texture, but much up completely in a few chews. They helped me get through it!!

There are times all you can do is suck it up---but always ask, if we have any ideas, we will be glad to share them!!!

Hang in there---you are through the hard part!!

Genisoy has a product called Soy Crisps. They have Protein, 7 grams per serving . I got some and used them as "bread" for my tunafish. Pretty good. They have different flavors. I got the Sea Salt ones and Apple Cinnamon. I figure its another source of protein and have a nice crunch.

I found these awesome chips yesterday at Walmart. They are baked fruit crisps in Peach-Mango (although they had other ones, fruit was what I was craving). They crunch, but practically dissolve to liquid as you chew. Very tasty and satisifies that crunching need. They aren't the best food choice for calories, as a serving is 14 crisps, 130 calories, but I only ate half a serving.

Edit: I wanted to add, that the name of the product is Flat Earth, made by Frito Lay. They also make a Tomato Ranch, Cheddar cheese, Garlic & Herb, Wild berry, and Apple Cinnamon. Each serving of the chips contains 1/2 serving of real fruit or real vegetables.

Here's a link to the nutritional info:

When you can get to the solid food stage, I just discovered pea pods. I bought them in a bag at Walmart in the produce section. They peas inside the pod and I just finished having some with lunch. Very crunchy!

Quaker makes 90 calorie packs of baby rice cakes. Cinnamon streusel and one drizzled with chocolate and I can't think of the other. They are very good as well.

You'll be able to crunch soon, hang in there!

I like the whole wheat melba toast, they are very crunchy and like all truly crunchy things dissolve to pure mush when chewed. They are low fat and low cal, great for weight loss :)
