cubbies76 132 Posted October 27, 2013 You shouldn't have any problems. Folks travel a few weeks after the surgery. Plus, by that time, your stomach will be fully healed and you will be completely on solids. Enjoy the trip!

lilijo 187 Posted October 27, 2013 I'm planning (hoping) to travel to Paris and Barcelona exactly two months post op. I am going to have to work really hard to get my stamina back up in 6 weeks, but I'm going to give it all I got! At least we won't have to spend as much on food. Go for it! You'll have a great time! Camella 209 Posted October 27, 2013 I travelled for 5 weeks from when I was only 4 weeks post (in Asia & Australia). I had low energy prior to the trip, however being in a new environment and away from my home comforts actually give me a bit of zest! You will be fine and I'm sure you will have a fantastic trip. Enjoy the adventure
I Am Resolute! 10 Posted October 27, 2013 Enjoy! 5 months sounds like plenty of time post op I am planning a cruise 12 weeks post op. Of course cruises are all about the food so my struggles may be different. We are going with old friends and so, I choose to make it all about the people!
