kjparker 2 Posted October 27, 2013 Ok so I was sleeved on Oct 22nd and I am on 2 weeks Full liquid diet. My question is?? What is the actual difference between full liquid and pureed? I mean my 2nd day in the hospital whn I started Full liquids the kitchen brought me blended chicken Soup. Nonfat milk and a vanilla pudding cup. The items were thick. I was surprised. So the bariatric nurse said full liquid diet is anything Pourable or smooth. So again somebody help me out here. Cant I just blend up some cauliflower or broccoli to make it pourable? And if so whats the difference. Thanks!
gomekast 559 Posted October 27, 2013 Wow! I was sleeved same day as you and I'm on Clear Liquids until next week. I'm slightly envious that you get to taste flavors besides juice or chicken broth!
Arts137 1,811 Posted October 27, 2013 it's a continuum. This this way... can you pour it? Mashed potato is pureed. Add enough liquid so it pours and it becomes "full liquid".
