The one thing I wanted to go away was hunger cravings, but I still feel hungry. Its not head hunger either. My stomach growls and I have an appetite. Sort of discouraged. Anyone else like this? kjparker 2 Posted October 25, 2013 Thanks. I was just told so many times that I wojld not feel hinger after surgery. But I totally do. I am doing full liquids and following guidlines exactly. And when I do try to have a shake it takes hours to get down so I never really feel full, like I thought I would. I'm hoping when I am able to eat like a normal meal I will fill more full. I mean why did I go tjrough all this if I am still hungry!
amykins 202 Posted October 25, 2013 No, you really are not hungry. I promise. Your head is used to having food every x hours. It's just complaining. It doesn't hear your new tummy saying it's full. Just sip, sip, sip. It will catch up, I promise. It may take a week or so, but you truly are not hungry. 1 702layla reacted to this

gomekast 559 Posted October 25, 2013 What I thought was hunger was really just all the gas floating around inside. Once I go it all out along with my first bm, haven't felt it since. Today is day post op day 4 for me.
