dp81796 33 Posted October 24, 2013 I just want to say how thankful I am for the support here. My husband of 20 years left me 2 weeks before surgery. I thankfully have wonderful family and friends. Thy have supported me and thankfully all of you support me on this journey. I had surgery on the 8th. Had a small hiccup and had some internal bleeding and they had to go back in a couple hours later but thankfully was resolved. Close to needing transfusion but thankfully not needed. Body just working hard at healing and replenishing red blood cells. Lots of rest is helping. On soft foods and doing ok. Saw dr yesterday cuz I had some pain on left side only when I moved a certain way. They think it's muscular - aggregated the muscle they cut through. Positive is I'm down 23 lbs. 13 pounds since surgery. I read the posts everyday multiple times. These posts are very helpful and inspire. Thank you! 3 gamergirl, Ballermom and LivLogic reacted to this
