MyBodyFreedom 9 Posted October 24, 2013 When you were first considering weight loss surgery and after you decide to have it did you keep it to yourself or tell everyone. I have only told a few friends, my mom and my husband of course. I haven't told any of my other family member yet. Too much negativity and I don't need that right now. 1 dbsylvest reacted to this
Skinny in Here 83 Posted October 24, 2013 I waited until after the surgery to tell most people. I didn't need to hear their opinion. 1 MyBodyFreedom reacted to this
joatsaint 2,814 Posted October 24, 2013 I grew up being the target of bullies. So I am very guarded about giving my enemies ammunition. I didn't tell anyone but my best friend and my parents. Remember, you can tell people about the surgery anytime you want, but you can't untell them. Here's my video explaining my stance on to tell or not tell. 1 MyBodyFreedom reacted to this
ReDbEaN 654 Posted October 24, 2013 I told everyone, but it's a personal choice, completely up to you. There is no right or wrong answer. 1 MyBodyFreedom reacted to this
notime 340 Posted October 24, 2013 I told no one but my husband and daughters. Even now, a year and a half later, I have only told three other people. When people ask how I have lost weight, I tell them diet and exercise. And that is the truth. 1 MyBodyFreedom reacted to this
