NickieLo339 47 Posted October 24, 2013 Was wondering if anyone used these on their scars and did it work? Thanks
Skinny in Here 83 Posted October 24, 2013 I had a TT two years ago and used silicone sheets with much success. You have to look closely to see a scar. For the sleeve scars I have been using silicone nipple covers. They are working great so far. I bought them on Amazon for a couple of dollars a pair.

I noticed the mederma and scar away are pretty expensive
TNSleever 4 Posted October 24, 2013 How early can you start using things like that?

You can buy different sizes of sheets of silicone on this site as well if you prefer to use these instead of the nipple covers. They had the best price I found. http://www.vitalitymedical.com/nm-technologies-retouch-silicone-scar-reduction-sheets.html

Skinny in Here 83 Posted October 24, 2013 How early can you start using things like that? You can use them as soon as the skin is healed and there is no oozing or crusting at the site.

ChunkyMonkey 13 Posted October 24, 2013 I'm 5 weeks out and using the silicone sheets. Based on my reasearch the best thing for scar healing is protecting them from drying out so the sheets work very well. I looked up mederma vs silicone sheets and the sheets came out the winner. Guess we will see in a few months! 1 Skinny in Here reacted to this
