Kay York 53 Posted October 23, 2013 I had my surgery 10-21 and they told me during surgery you have a breathing tube placed down your throat to breath when you are knocked out. bigchubs1 1 Posted October 23, 2013 It's not like a sore throat' date=' it's lower like its my stomach.[/quote'] I got sleeved on the 14th Ann's that was what was happening to me every time I swallowed I could deal it got down then it should hurt as it entered the new pouch.the only think I could think of its that they bruised that entrance muscle with the tube they use to gauge your new pouch. It went away in about a week. I hasty powered threw it in order ttyl get all my liquids down. Not sure weather that was the weight or wrong thing to do. gomekast 559 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) My dr gave me a steroid shotgun help bring the swelling down. I wasn't able to keep Water down due to the swelling. Today feeling much better.
