Kay__S 33 Posted October 23, 2013 Yes. I take Target's home brand version of them. They taste just the same as my little girl's Vitamins, which she adores.
Bombs 353 Posted October 23, 2013 They felt weird going down. I don't want to do any damage. Did they feel weird to you?

gastricsleever 259 Posted October 23, 2013 I thought that Gummy candy and Vitamins weren't good after the sleeve because they absorb Water and therefore will expand in your new lil stomach...
whitgetfit 2 Posted October 23, 2013 My mom is a bariatric certified nurse and works in a Surgical Weight Loss Center of Excellence. She picked up my Vitamins for me and they are Gummy. I'd say they should be OK. 2 noamy4life and Kay__S reacted to this

I'd say they should be OK. Good to know! I'm curious, I haven't had my surgery yet but sometimes when I take my vitamins I feel kinda nauseous. Does this happen to anyone after the sleeve? How do u take all those vitamins when eating so little?
charlie1 1 Posted October 23, 2013 It's a process I get food on stomach first before I start Vitamins. And Prilosec first
GreekGirl 20 Posted October 23, 2013 I do take them but waited about two weeks. They are now actually a treat for me. I take two of the Fiber and two of the Multivitamin and a caltrate chew each mid morning in place of a snack. they actually give me a nice little hold over to my next meal! The good thing is they are not harsh on an empty stomach like regular Vitamins.< /p>

back2barb78 890 Posted October 23, 2013 After surgery it's important to be getting the appropriate amount of nutrients especially since we are in a malnourished state. If you look at what's in gummies and what's in bariatric Vitamins they kinda don't measure up. Also with all the side effects like Hair loss taking the appropriate vitamins long term is of utmost importance. I blend my Vitamin into my shake. {)i(} Sent from my iPhone using VST {)i(} 2 onedaycloser and noamy4life reacted to this
