rocknrollmama1980 20 Posted October 22, 2013 I am ten days post op. I can't seem to do more than 2 1/2 hours of straight activity without going down for a long nap. This then throws off my bedtime. When will I have more energy?
shoopaie 26 Posted October 22, 2013 Maybe take a B12 supplement to help you out? 1 Ballermom reacted to this
rocknrollmama1980 20 Posted October 22, 2013 I think I get a prescription on Thursday. I have to choose between daily spray or bill or a monthly shot. I wonder what is better.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted October 22, 2013 It took me about three weeks before I was completely nap-free (everyone is different though). Major surgery makes your body need a lot more sleep in order to recover and heal, so take all the naps you need. 1 Mammecan reacted to this
joatsaint 2,814 Posted October 22, 2013 Me too, it was about 3 weeks before my energy levels came back. It took a few months to get back to my total energy level I had pre-op.
gunslinger95 9 Posted October 22, 2013 That's good to hear. I'm 15 days out and was starting to get frustrated with my lack of energy. I keep thinking once I get on "mushy" foods next week and can get some calories that it will get better.

RJ'S/beginning 5,358 Posted October 22, 2013 Listen to your body..It is telling you that you are not ready yet for a full tilt exercise program....Your body is different then mine.....Sleep if you need to it helps heal the body....As you go along your energy will increase along with your activity... Start now to listen and work with your body instead of your mind and go step by step...K
