bdmadsen 13 Posted October 21, 2013 Iwas sleeved on May 28, 2013 by Doctor Fass in Austin Texas. I lost 28 lbs on my pre-op diet. To date including my pre-op loss I have lost 120 lbs. I have been very blessed with the way that I handled the surgery. I never had any major pain. I was on liquids for about 3 weeks and made a smooth transition to semi-solids and solids. It has now been just over 4 months from my surgery and I am starting to lose a little hair. Words cannot express the changes that I already have in my like. I weighed just under 400 lbs when I had the surgery. Just walking from my home to my vehicle took my breath away. I can now bend over to tie my shoes. I walk around the nieborhood without pain in my knees and feet. My only regret is that I did not do the surgery sooner. If you are reading this post because you are thinking about doing it, my advice is to do your homework, make sure it is for you. If it is, make your mind up to be totally dedicatd to what your doctor tells you to do. This is a life time commentment not just another fad diet. I will never allow myself to be fat again. I want to thank all of you who have shared your great moments and the difficult moments. They have helped me so much. God bless all of you. bdmadsen 7 meamo, NMJG, ProudGrammy and 4 others reacted to this
