Yes! I am almost 6 weeks out, and if I get the hiccups for more than a few minutes, it usually means I ate too fast and am about to vomit. Not often, but I find it is a reminder to slow down!

I believe this is all related to the vagus nerve irritation (along with runny nose and sneezing). It will likely get better.

I'm 10 weeks out and I have the hiccups very often....it's not very attractive when I do it, because it sounds like it comes all the way up from the insides of my gut, and is SOOO loud, its embarrassing :( but also at the same time kinda funny! If I eat or drink a little fast I will get them!!! But hey everyone that I eat with knows I've had the sleeve and they are use to it now :)

This just made me realize I don't do it anymore. Used to have them a lot. I'm five months out now.
