PokeyJo 47 Posted October 19, 2013 I'm not hungry, but want a crunchy snack. What is there crunchy to eat one month post op? I can't think of anything....
gamergirl 4,610 Posted October 19, 2013 Dried edamame and freeze dried crunchamame. Both are surprisingly high Protein and tasty.
RebecaSparkles 247 Posted October 19, 2013 My plan has saltines on it when you hit pureed. After pureed your free to resume whatever you can tolerate. Kale chips? Edamame? Wasabi peas? Sea weed chips? Those are pretty good options if you read labels & chose wisely. Hope this helps. allons-y
ChristineR 128 Posted October 19, 2013 I was allowed stacy's pita chips. So I would eat about 3 of them with a low fat cheese stick. Probably not as healthy as some of the things listed above but it's my fave!
ReDbEaN 654 Posted October 19, 2013 (edited) Doctor Kracker makes some pumpkin Seed Chedder crackers...I LOVE them!! 5 grams Protein in each cracker...I can only eat 1/2 of one at a time and my dr approved...I eat them with cheese or sometimes alone:) http://drkracker.com/our-products/crispbreads/pumpkin-seed-cheddar/ Edited October 19, 2013 by ReDbEaN
LBD 121 Posted October 19, 2013 I read that someone recommended Beanitos... Looked like a mostly bean based tortilla chip. I actually saw them at Rite Aid of all places! Sounds pretty good/healthy though for those of us who need crunch... Definitely going to try the dry roasted edamame though! 1 gamergirl reacted to this

livilu 39 Posted October 19, 2013 This is not quite as healthy as other above suggestions but if you are just looking for a good crunchy snack there are a bunch of 100 calorie popcorn bags. I am three months out and can only eat about half a bag at a time. It is the only time i really feel like i am getting a whole lot of of crunchy goodness without feeling too guilty afterward 1 Tamiz1067 reacted to this
