Sleeveland 0 Posted October 18, 2013 Flame away if you will, but I'm here looking for help. I never stopped using my e-cigarette and I'm regretting it. My surgery was almost 4 months ago. I have pain and discomfort in my stomach and esophagus. I can barely eat or drink. I am on antacids twice a day and nothing helps. I'm going to have some tests done to see if there's something else going on. But, is it safe to say this is the nicotine doing this to me? I'm going to pick up a Chantix prescription today. Wish me luck.
endless80 697 Posted October 18, 2013 It could possibly be doing this to you but nobody will really know. I bet if you told your doctor he would blame nicotine. It's a poison that slows down healing.
DianaE 128 Posted October 18, 2013 hope you can lay it down soon! You wont regret it.. I smoked for 40 years and finally ladi them down about 5 years ago.. I did put on more weight, but at the time, I figured I would deal with that issue when I could.. I finally did last year with WLS.. So now I dont smoke and I am thinner.. WIN WIN!! good luck to you!! Sleeveland 0 Posted October 18, 2013 I quit for a month (2 months before surgery) and it never got easier. I was edgy and craving all the time. I went about 16 hours the other day and felt better...and super hungry. I ordered new e-juice at half the nicotine I usually get and will start Chantix tomorrow.
