Ok, if we're posting pictures of our babies I have to chime in. I was allergic to dogs all of my life until 2 years ago so this is my first dog ever and she is definitely our spoiled little baby. She's Chihuahua and Daushound (Chiweenie).

So are you not allergic anymore? How did that happen? I ask because I want a cat but both my kids are allergic to them. I keep hoping they will outgrow it but since the older one is 23 now, I guess that's not happening

No, I'm not allergic anymore. I evidently outgrew most of my allergies that I had as a child. I probably wouldn't even have known it if my son and his wife hadn't brought their new puppy to visit. When I didn't have a reaction, I had an allergy test done and found out I'm not allergic to dogs, cats, tomatoes, pork, strawberries and lots of other things that I used to be.

I would have your children retested since they are older now. You never know !
