denise633 86 Posted October 17, 2013 Does anyone have problems with flatbreads, wraps or multi grain sandwich thins......as a previous band patient these were all no no's but I'm wondering if the sleeve can tolerate them....
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted October 17, 2013 Personally the only bread products I eat are tortillas, others are just too dense and heavy in my stomach.
Kathie5353 53 Posted October 17, 2013 I have not tried bread yet, 8 weeks out. I really don't want to even start it again. It was a weakness of mine
maj0rl0ser 21 Posted October 17, 2013 I was reading some bariatric recipes last night and came across this bread http://www6.netrition.com/nutribreads_p28.html
JSCRIMPSHIRE 56 Posted October 17, 2013 I like the flat out products. They are a good bread substitute.
Chele H 427 Posted October 17, 2013 I have a sleeve of steel and can tolerate anything....fortunately it can only hold so much. I have had small amounts of bread, 3 or 4 pretzels, a few crackers, small pieces of the tortilla from a chicken quesadilla here and there. 1 back2barb78 reacted to this

Chelsi 107 Posted October 17, 2013 i used the flatout bread for the first time yesterday and i tolerated it well. i'm 4 weeks post op. i haven't tried regular bread, i'm scared to. also because regular bread is a trigger for me. but i've also had a whole wheat wrap from a restaurant and that went down easy too. i'm think bread might be a little dense for our sleeve.
