EarthyGoalie 253 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) I was told to keep my diet low carb and low sugar. But I'm wondering what is low enough? At least at this stage (2 weeks post op) ? I'm finding some supplements online to replace having to drink a shake all the time, and some have 20 something, some have 12grams of carbs, some have 15, and some 2 or 3. How much is enough? How much is too much? Edited October 17, 2013 by EarthyGoalie
Richard Foor 655 Posted October 17, 2013 I've always tried to keep my daily level of net carbs(carbs - Fiber) to below 40 grams a day.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted October 17, 2013 My surgeon has a goal of between 30 and 60 total (not net) carbs per day for six months out. Every surgeon seems to require something a little different!
