DietZ 1 Posted October 15, 2013 Every time I eat it makes me feel sick. I don't like any of the foods that I use to. Any suggestions on how to stop the nauseated feelings?
ReDbEaN 654 Posted October 15, 2013 How far out are you?? My dr said if I stay nauseated and/or vomit to let them know...it could be gallbladder issues.
Justinh125 472 Posted October 15, 2013 You have to take it slow at first...remember that the sleeve will be swollen for some time...gotta let it heal.

SouthernCharm1383837808 8 Posted October 19, 2013 I haven't had my surgery yet but my physicians office has told us that if you feel nauseated it could be you are getting dehydrated. That you must sip sip sip all day long to stay hydrated. It could also be a gallbladder issue as someone mentioned earlier. My physician did say that most people who tend to have gallbladder issues will have those issues within the first 6 months following surgery. I would contact your physician just to make him aware. I'm sure you wouldn't be the first in their office to have this concern.
BethinPA 305 Posted October 20, 2013 I couldn't tolerate eggs, chicken or turkey at first. It doesn't mean you won't be able to tolerate them just fine later on. Be gentle with yourself, you will find foods that you can tolerate now, and your options will expand later.
