gamergirl 4,610 Posted October 16, 2013 I have an underactive thyroid. I'm 2.5. Months out and have lost 35 lbs. I have also had my dosage reduced twice already. The doc said thyroid meds are somewhat weight depends t so it's not uncommon for doses to go down with weight loss. We do lose a but slower as we get pcos, thyroid, Menopause, get older, etc., from what I have read. But it's still all a lot faster than without the sleeve! Cabingirl 55 Posted October 16, 2013 I'm hypothyroid as well, sleeved 2 months ago. I've had my medication reduced once and lost a total of 37 lbs since my surgery. I'm in my 60's, and it is a slow-go, but it is real.

Carol1560 45 Posted October 17, 2013 I think we are going to have to take thyroid pills for the rest of our days. I do know that the lower the dose you have the better 1 gamergirl reacted to this
