Help! What kind of surgery am i having?

Why lie? Truth is, it's none of their business and you should say no offense but rather not talk about it. I could careless who knows personally... Lol if they have a problem with it, it just that...their problem.

I'm telling people that I'm having surgery....period. No one will see my scars so that's not an issue. At work if I have restrictions regarding lifting, health services will give them the restrictions. They don't need to know what kind of surgery I'm having. It's no one's business. If I do want to give more I will tell them I'm having stomach surgery which is true but for now it's surgery....period

I've always been very open and up front about my surgery. If people don't like it, they can get over it, IMHO, LOL.

That being said, if you REALLY want it to be private and personal, here are some thoughts:

1) Most of us had a hietal(sp?) hernia removed during surgery - you can just tell people that you had a hernia removed.

2) Why tell them anyway? If it's none of their business that you had surgery in the first place, it's not their place why you aren't at work, right? Explain it away with, "oh, just took some personal time for myself" - it's TECHNICALLY not a lie ...

An alternative, though, would be to be honest about it! Use it as an opportunity to educate people on the sleeve and the truth about weight loss surgeries in general!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
