dp81796 33 Posted October 14, 2013 Hello all! I was sleeved 10/8. I have been working hard getting Protein but just can't do shakes. Any Soup ideas, etc?
Chelsi 107 Posted October 14, 2013 i ate a lot of greek yogurt (dannon light and fit greek, some have 2x protein!) to get some extra Protein in. but the shakes, unfortunately, at that stage were mandatory for protein intake. 1 dp81796 reacted to this
FieryRed 55 Posted October 14, 2013 Unjury.com makes a chicken Soup broth that has 21g of Protein. I just ordered the vanilla and unflavored to add to my meals post-op (VSG is this Wednesday!) but have a feeliing I'll order the chicken soup stuff too, to make Egg Drop Soup (extra, extra protein!). 2 JerseyGirl68 and meamo reacted to this
cindymg 629 Posted October 14, 2013 You can also use Unjury's strawberry sorbet flavor and make with sugar-free Jello. I think it's like 20 grams of Protein. Advise you buy the individual packets to try. They can be returned if you don't like them. The big containers are less expensive, but can't be returned. Also, have you tried mixing your Protein shakes with skim milk or non-fat Greek yogurt? Add some ice, mix in a blender and it's like a milkshake! 2 meamo and FieryRed reacted to this

JeansBeans 12 Posted October 14, 2013 try www.bjsbariatrics.com they have Syntrax Nectar shakes that you can buy as a sample pack. They are on sale right now. I really liked the Apple, Grapefruit and Iced tea. They mix with Water so they are more...'fruity' than 'milky'. Hope this helps
