Hello Everyone,

I had my surgery on March 1, 2007 at 9:45am. Everything was successful. I have no pain, just soreness. I smile every minute because I made it through the surgery with no complications. I know this chapter of my life is going to be a good thing for me and my family. I have already lost 10lbs, just being on the liquid diet. I'm beginning to feel like myself again and I can't wait to start shedding these pounds. Thanks you guys for all of the support and encouragement, I have finally been initiated. Just wanted to give you all an update on how the surgery went. :clap2:

dec0578, congratulations! Welcome to Bandlandia! May you shrink quickly and painlessly. May your days whither away into a long, slim life. Just be careful....I've heard that losing weight leads to more activities. LOL

Congrats!!!! I'm realizing that getting banded is one of the best decisions I've made. The best is yet to come!

Safe and sane, just like the fireworks, the band was the best thing I ever did for myself, and I feel younger and younger each week, and I hope you have more happiness as things progress for you! I have a mini goal to hit onederland myself, the last time I was under 200, I must have been a fetus!
