Doctor's Office Finally Called

O.K. I just called over to the Dr. office, and ask a few questions. The lady that answered the phone said since I was self pay there would not be a Psych involved. She said they would do the blood work etc. I ask her what all would be involved in the first visit, and she said consiltation, he will ask about any problems etc. and he will tell you what procedure would be best for you. I told her I only wanted the lap band, and she said if I would qualify for that he would do it. I then ask her how long after my first visit would I be able to schedule surgery. She said they will call the hospital and see when they have a spot available and will set it. She said it could be 2 weeks or even less. So, I feel better now that I know a little more. I guess I will just concentrate on making a list of questions and try to get more exercise in and practice eating and drinking.
