Ow does everyone get all the Water in? I try and can't do it because I either forget or feel to full to drink. I managed to get 45oz today and that's a good day for me.

I try and keep a bottle with me when I can. I work in an office so I can always have something on my desk. I mix it up, Water, Vitamin water zero. I find I can drink the Vitamin water zero faster than plain water. I just feel so much better when I get in 64oz. plus. Forgetting you can work on, try a timer on your phone or watch. Good luck!

It's a struggle for me as well. I think there's only been 1 single day that I've made it to 64oz. I forget to sip - especially now that I am back to work. So, I'm renewing my efforts to hit that goal next week. Good luck!

I'm 3.5 years post op and getting Water in is still an issue for me. I have never drank a lot of fluids. After surgery plain water was impossible, made me nauseated. So now my water is mixed with crystal lite or the packets for Hawaiian punch.

I'm one month post op, and Im struggling for Water intake as well! Mine isn't the full feeling, it's the fact that Im so darn nauseous in the mornings from any liquid. Pre surgery I drank more fluids than most people I knew, but now...like you said 45 oz. is a good day. I am starting to be able to gulp a little with the water. Im hoping soon that will translate into more Fluid intake :/ Hope everyone can manage to stay hydrated.

Try this trick..8 oz every time you go to the bathroom. It adds up.

I'm having trouble too. About 1 week out and 48 oz is a struggle all day. Feel full all the time. It sucks! I hope it gets easier.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
